Fox television network relieved millions of fans when it officially announced in April that the fan favorite Fringe will be renewed for the fifth and the final season which eventually will be the end of the supernatural era. The final season for the famous American science-fiction TV series will begin from Friday, 28 September and will probably end on February 2013. Fox made the official announcement for the renewal of Fringe's fifth season on April 26, 2012 and concluded on a 13-episode final season. The long wait of millions of fans finally came to an end as they were desperately waiting for the final chapter.
The science-fiction television drama created by Alex Kurtzman, J.J. Abrams and Roberto Orci was started on 9th September 2008 and the first season featured 20 episodes. The series starts with a female FBI agent 'Olivia Dunham' (Anna Torv) who gets to investigate a series of supernatural events with the help of an institutionalized scientist 'Walter Bishop' (John Noble). She has to get Walter's son 'Peter Bishop' (Joshua Jackson) on board to get the doctor's full cooperation on FBI's on-going investigations. When they go deeper, it leads to more than they anticipated. The investigations lead to Massive dynamic, a multinational company and its founder 'William Bell' (Leonard Nimoy) who previously shared laboratory with Dr. Walter Bishop.
Fringe's second season started premiering on 17th September, 2009 which consisted of 23 episodes and since the season finale, the series started to become more mysterious as the fact of two parallel universes actually came to light. The third season followed the war between the two universes and it was a complete 22-episode season which was strongly acclaimed by television critics. The fourth season witnessed an unexpected truce between both the universes with the help of Peter Bishop, who was later wiped out from the timeline by the 'Observers' and both the sides are now forced to work together. Fringe successfully completed its four seasons on 11th May 2012 with the concluding episode.
With final season starting on Friday, Fringe's fans have made the impossible possible. The final saga will take a huge leap to 2036 with Observers taking control of the world and rebels Olivia, Peter and Walter battling against them to fight for their future. On Friday, September 28, the reality will be revealed and the fight to save human race will begin in the final season premiere.
